New Patients

For your first visit

Dr. Julie Stante believes in providing her patients with the best, most thorough dental care possible. That is why we take extra care to ensure that we evaluate your dental health, your needs, and your goals during your initial consultation with us. Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation with Dr. Stante to review your medical and dental history in the privacy of our consultation room. Our goal is to obtain all the necessary information in order to diagnose both your wants as well as your needs. Everyone’s dental needs are unique, so we will customize treatment to allow each person to enjoy the benefits of a lifetime of dental health.

Upon arrival to our office:

  • You will be greeted by your treatment coordinator and receive a tour of our office.
  • Following your consultation with Dr. Stante, all necessary X-rays will be taken. A comprehensive tooth by tooth exam will be performed utilizing our intraoral camera. Then a comprehensive periodontal exam for gum disease will be performed. Routine dental cleanings will be performed. We will do a full mouth oral cancer screening as well as a TMJ screening exam.
  • We appreciate that each person has individual health needs and desires for there smile. Therefore please allow approximately 90-120 minutes for your first visit to our office. This time will include your routine dental cleaning and time to discuss any treatment recommendations with Dr. Stante. Our treatment coordinator will provide you with an estimate of any recommended or elective care and make sure your financial questions have been answered prior to treatment.

Please alert the our office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern. Medical conditions that may effect your dental health include: diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, medications for osteoporosis or if you have tested positive for HPV). Inform us if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require taking medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e antibiotics, for pre-med.)

X-Rays:

If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
